IVth Stahl Korps

My friend Neville bought an absolute tonne of imperial guard models from various ebay sources, but can’t get his head around the painting and modeling part of the hobby. So I offered to build/fix up and paint his entire army because I love painting and building and this means I get to do it for free and I don’t have to figure out where to put everything after I’m done. Here is my progress so far on Neville’s band of nomadic space nazis the IVth Stahl Korps.

Commissar Heinrich, the grim facist usually found leading hordes of prison conscripts.
First squad of ogryns. Nevs got ten of these guys and the old metal models are full of character.
The first squad of penal legion conscripts, mainly on cannon fodder duty.
The first infantry platoon. Only got like 200 more infantry to go.
Went for a starship troopers/prussian vibe for the infantry. A lot of fun painting something radically different from my rebels and dark eldar.

That’s it so far. I’m also working on a hive city terrain board for him which you can see in the home image. A couple of matches coming up this week so stay tuned for some more battle reports.
