Kabal of the Screaming Skull Vs Black Templars 1500pt List

Got a match coming up tomorrow against an old friend who’s just coming back into the hobby. I’m going in fully painted so you know it’s time for another list parade. This time I’m using my dark eldar. Been playing them for over 20 years and they’re my go to guys if I want to win convincingly. List at end.

The whole list. Going in hot and heavy and focusing on speed and brutality. No heavy support in this list and nothing touching the ground first turn.
Leading the list is an archon with the Djinn Blade for up to 8 Attacks on the charge and the Animus vitae, though it rarely goes off getting the bump to power from pain will really help my late turn assaults. He’s bringing a court of the archon with 2 Sslyths and 2 Medusae. Sslyths are always a solid choice for bodyguard units and the ap3 templates on the Medusae do a stellar job of clearing blobs of anything.
Bringing an incubi squad with Klaivex decked out with demilklaives. Against marines incubi are a must, even a cheap squad can take down a squad of terminators worth twice their points.
Squad of reavers with cluster caltrops, heat lance, blaster and champion with an agoniser. This is my go to tournament unit as they can do pretty much anything you need em to on the table. They pop tanks, shred infantry then boost half the table to jump on an objective last turn.
Decked out scourge squad with as much firepower as possible. They’ll either jump in, pop a landraider and then die in a hail of fire, or hang somewhere in cover until they can make themselves useful. They don’t often go off but they look real pretty.
Bringing my meat and veg, gunboat warrior squads like I pretty much always do. This one has dark lance/shredder combo with a little sumthin sumthin power sword for the sybarite for late turn assaults.
The other warrior squad has a blaster/splinter cannon combo with an agoniser for the sybarite. I’ve found the trick with dark eldar is to split roles for most of your units, that way you can generally still take on anything even if your army is left with dregs at the end.
Decked out transports for all of my infantry because dark eldar don’t walk unless they absolutely have to, and finally the veteran razorwing Harpy, who earned his stripe taking down a heldrake in a dogfight. Harpy has a full load of shatterfield missiles and dual disintegrators for wiping blobs of marines and terminators.

Looking forward to bringing the boys in red, black and bone out for another spin. Battle report should be up in the next few days.
